vsTASKER 4.1- Still innovative, even more powerful, flexible and
yet affordable! |
vsTASKER is a graphical simulation
framework designed to easely build complex real-time
simulations based on scenarios, doctrines,
missions and behavioral models used with virtual environments
(simulators, automated forces, CGF or real-time
reactive systems that need complex controls...). vsTASKER offers
ways to easily define and manipulate these concepts.
vsTASKER simplifies difficult and abstract requirements
(logics, behaviors, HLA, communication, modeling, MATLAB or Simulink integration, MySQL...)
using clear diagrams the user can manipulate
with his mouse at design and runtime. System engineers can develop
low level behaviors allowing the end-user to build
their own Doctrines.
vsTASKER introduces, with version 4.1, an HMI builder to design and deploy dynamic panels, connectivity with MATLAB & Simulink, Delta3D, offers a 3D Scenario editor and external GIS (Google-Earth, TatukGIS...). Also available are Units (aggregates),
HLA/OMT Editor, User Command generator, OpenGL scenario
maps, plug-ins, models that allow users to easily
define their own components such as entity dynamics,
missile guidance system, formations (...) and much more!
vsTASKER is a C++ code generator that mixes diagrams
and user-code into object-oriented classes, ready to
be compiled and integrated with third-party libraries.
vsTASKER can output EXE, DLL and COM, royalties
free!

Clean approach - Instead of having missions, behaviors
and logics scattered within hundreds of modules, vsTASKER visually
gathers all your simulation system behaviors under one unique
tool.
Easy modelling - Models can be easily defined as
real-time components and are trouble-free to visualize and share
between entities or scenarios.
Customization - Using plug-in, components and external
object libraries.
Distribution - User-friendly mechanisms to do HLA
and LAN connectivity.
GUI API - Ability to create user defined GUI and
control the simulation engine.
Royalties Free - Runtime engine and libraries are
license free. User can deploy without royalties.
User Interface - Automatically generates GUI for
parameters.
Command & Control - User-definable commands,
multiple hook-windows, powerful event based mechanisms.
Ergonomy - The GUI offers an intuitive way with
graphics and symbols to define all kind of behaviors and attach
them to entities of a given scenario.
Connectivity - vsTASKER can easily be connected
to any synthetic environment, simulator or 3rd party software
using their published API or public data.
EXE/DLL/COM - vsTASKER generates C++ code mixing
user added one with the translation of the graphical descriptions.
The code can be compiled in a mouse click as an executable (EXE),
a library (DLL) or a component (COM).
Interoperability - vsTASKER can generate events and
facts. It reacts also to external predefined events.
Expandability - User can add its own code into each
logical object, using directly third-party API/data to facilitate
integration and increasing performances.
Expertise - vsTASKER offers a declarative set of
rules to trigger behaviors in a non procedural way, using an
internal expert system.
Monitoring - vsTASKER GUI can be used to visually
monitor the behavior of each selected entity.
Integration - vsTASKER generated code licensing based
on LAN card or USB dongle, thus allowing deployment with minimum
restriction.

Why choosing vsTASKER? |
|
Quite often, you will not need all the bells
and whistles of popular simulation frameworks, but you will
pay for them, you will support their bugs and will be penalized
by the overhead many useless features impose on the final application
performance.
A simulation framework is not the final system. It should not
jeopardize the customer budget with a high price or expensive
consultation rates. It should not overkill the engineering team
with to much complexity to learn and use. It should remain a
framework.
vsTASKER provides only what most of the simulation professionals
expect from a framework. It is simple to learn, intuitive
to use and easy to expand. Its price is affordable
and the final application performance is far above competition.
Also, it relies on diagrams while other tools still require
a lot of programming.
vsTASKER is the perfect tool for entry level to middle size
CGF or Simulation SDK, allowing you to be on time and within budget!
